Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 September 2026

BudgetHomeGym respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, the services involved, and the choices and rights available to you.

Information we may collect

Depending on how you use BudgetHomeGym, we may process information including:

  • Information you provide through our contact form, such as your name, email address, optional phone number, and message.
  • Information you provide when subscribing to our newsletter, such as your email address and, where provided, your name.
  • Information submitted when commenting on site content.
  • Technical and usage information such as IP address, browser/device information, referring pages, pages viewed, and similar diagnostic or analytics data.
  • Cookie and consent preferences.
  • Security and anti-spam information needed to protect forms, comments, subscriptions, and the website.

Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information through our contact forms or comments unless it is genuinely necessary.

How we use information

We use personal information only for appropriate purposes, including:

  • responding to enquiries and feedback;
  • providing newsletter emails that a subscriber has requested;
  • operating, maintaining, securing, and improving the website;
  • preventing spam, abuse, fraudulent submissions, and security threats;
  • understanding site usage and performance where analytics consent has been provided;
  • complying with applicable legal obligations.

Legal bases

Where applicable under data-protection law, we rely on different legal bases depending on the activity:

  • Consent: for optional analytics cookies and email marketing/newsletters.
  • Legitimate interests: for operating, securing, maintaining, and improving the website and responding to ordinary enquiries, where those interests do not override your rights.
  • Steps requested by you: where you contact us in connection with a request, recommendation, or potential service interaction.
  • Legal obligations: where processing is required by applicable law.

You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before consent was withdrawn.

Email subscriptions

BudgetHomeGym uses MailPoet to manage newsletter subscriptions and email delivery.

We use a confirmation process (double opt-in) so that a subscription is not activated until the email address is confirmed.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe option in an email.

We may retain limited suppression or preference information where necessary to honour an unsubscribe request and avoid sending unwanted email again.

Cookies and consent

BudgetHomeGym uses necessary cookies and may use optional cookies or similar technologies for analytics and site functionality.

We use CookieYes to provide cookie choices and record consent preferences. Optional cookie categories are controlled through the site's cookie consent banner.

Google Analytics is used through Google Site Kit to help us understand how the site is used. Analytics tracking for visitors subject to consent requirements is controlled through our consent setup.

You can accept, reject, or customise optional cookie categories through the cookie banner. You can also change your consent preferences later through the cookie settings control provided on the site.

Advertising cookies are not currently used by BudgetHomeGym. If advertising or additional tracking technologies are introduced in the future, this policy and the site’s consent configuration will be reviewed and updated before or when that processing begins.
